  1. And, as usual, none of the events arranged by the advising office are offered at a time when a student who works during the day can make it. I don't think there's been an event like this staged in the evening - or even the late afternoon - a single time in the four years I've been attending North. Sigh.

  2. I agree Ginger; it is unfortunate that the college does not take into consideration us day workers/night students who would like to attend events such as these. Even just ONE would be nice. Even if they were to offer a cyber type of meeting it would be better than nothing. It's hard enough to get advising/financial aid appointments out of their normal hours let alone these types of opportunities. Maybe some day...

    Let's take a survey in class about what kind of information would be helpful to everyone about topics like what's needed to graduate, financial aid, transfering to specific colleges, etc. I can present this information to our president and student services for their response and assistance!

    Great idea for a cyber meeting! What services would it offer? How? Jane
